Eden's Baptism and Steve's Birthday

We have had such a busy and fun summer so far, spent with family and cousins. I haven't had any time to blog. But it's been worth it. It's been so fun to see everyone. My kids are so wiped out, it's the first time in their lives they have slept in. It's been kinda nice.

To start our summer off, most of my family was home for my niece, Eden's baptism. Eden was so excited to be baptized and she looked so adorable.

My brother Nate, and niece Eden

All the grand kids on the Halls side were there to support Eden. It's quite the bunch. I love 'em. Ally had a little mishap with the pulpit before the picture so she wasn't a very happy girl.

She needed some comfort from her Uncle Michael.

Here's Eden after the whole thing was over. She did so great. Congratulations Eden! We love you!

After the baptism we went up to my parents house and had a big family dinner. Is there something wrong with these pictures?

Ya, why are the kids at the table and all the adults sitting on the floor? That's what we were wondering.

A few days after the baptism we spent a week at Lake Powell, that will be on the next post.

When we got back we decided to take a drive up the mountain for Steve's birthday. Since he was the birthday boy he got to check under the truck and make sure the oil that was leaking wasn't going to cause us any big problems on our drive. Wasn't he lucky!

Steve got Cole this cool BB gun, so the boys were super excited to try it out. He's a pretty good shot.

Steve helped Ethan shoot it too.

While Steve took Cole and Ethan on a little hike to do some "hunting", Amber and I took the little kids to throw rocks in the river.

Ryan, Ally and me at Johnson Creek.

Amber, Havyn, Ryan, and Ally by the creek. It is so beautiful and green up on the mountain.

Ryan trying to suck the water off his hand, or blow me a kiss. :)

Cole and Ethan back from "hunting" and ready to join the fun.

How many more pictures do we have to pose for?

This probably wasn't Steve's favorite idea for his birthday but it was fun to share it with him. We had a good time, thanks for taking us along.

Fun summer times =) I love your new family photos! Your kids are just adorable! I love you daughter's long curly hair, and baby's blue eyes. Beautiful family! We're due for family pictures this fall and I hope they turn out as cute as yours. Glad to see you're all doing well.
