More T-Ball
Just thought I would add a few more pictures of T-Ball. It has been so cold for all the game that Ethan likes to bundle up. Here he is trying to fit on the helmet with his hood and beanie on too.

Season Opener
We went on our first camping trip of the year this weekend. We had a great time. We went up on the Elk Mountain, and woke up to snow on Saturday morning. But the day warmed up quick and we had alot of fun.
Here's Ethan, Porter, and Maddax watching a movie before bedtime. (We really rough it when we go camping.)

All the dad's and the big boys went on a hike to look for elk sheds so Misty and I took the little kids on a hike down to a corral that was by our camp.

Climbing the fence. Jeter, Oakland, Ally, Porter, Maddax, and Ethan.

My sweet little Ally.

Isn't she sweet?

After the hike all the guys and big boys geared up for some serious paintball wars. I think we had 7000 paintballs and we went through all of them. Everyone has some battle wounds to show for it.
The mighty paintballers.

After that first game we played a game of husbands against wives in a paintball war. The wives got destroyed. We had no chance. But to our credit Karen and Misty have only played once and Jodene and I have never played so we didn't know what we were doing. We all have bruises on our bodies from where we got hit, one on my belly. I know, not very smart for a pregnant lady to be playing paintball. So after that round we were so upset that the guys hadn't even got hit once that we talked them into standing in a line and letting us each shoot 3 shots at them. I can't believe they agreed. I was videoing so Javan was lucky that I didn't shoot him.

T-Ball
This is Ethan's first year for T-Ball. He seems so tiny compared to all the rest of the kids on his team. He doesn't really know any of the kids on his team so he is pretty shy and won't really get into the game. Javan has to go stand in the outfield with him. Hopefully he will open up as the season goes on, but when there are only 9 games, there's not much time for warming up.
P.S. Every T-Ball game day has been horribly cold and windy so far, adding another reason why Ethan doesn't want to go. I haven't been having that much fun either.

IT'S A BOY!!
So we are having another boy! When I told the kids Ethan was excited, he wants 3 brothers and 1 sister. But Ally was a little sad, she said she doesn't want anymore brothers, I guess because Ethan is so mean to her. Once he is born she won't care that it is a boy, as long as she can hold him and love on him.

We had this first ultrasound on April 2, but I have been avoiding writing this post. The reason we did the ultrasound was to find out how far along I really am, because we weren't sure from my last period and what not. When I went to my first appointment I was thinking I was about 8 weeks along, but when Dr. Fisher did my little check he said my uterus as larger than that, so we listened for a heartbeat, which we heard, and also checked with the ultrasound too. To make sure there was just one baby and kind of see how big it was. So after the appointment that day we kind of decided I was about 12 or 13 weeks, which is about what I said in the post announcing we were having another baby.
So Dr. Fisher order an ultrasound to check and see how big the baby was and how far along I really am. At the time of the ultrasound we were saying I was 18 weeks along, and the utlrasound said 16 weeks, which is right in between what we first thought and what we later decided. So anyway, I was waiting until my next OB appointment to see if he was going to change my due date. I was hoping he wouldn't because I hate to move backwards.
But alas, I had an appointmemnt this morning and yes, he is changing my dates to what the ultrasound says, so now I am only 19 weeks instead of 21. Bummer! But he also ordered another ultrsound for 21 weeks (which is now in 2 more weeks) to just make sure again. I guess it can change again because I am getting pretty big. I even wore some maternity clothes. When Javan gets home from his trip I will have him take a picture of me.
Anyhow, that was a long post that you probably don't really care about but I was pretty sad about moving the due date back. So I guess now I will be due on Sept. 17. We'll see.

Girl'sTrip
Wow! What a fun weekend. On April 11-13, I went up to SLC with 4 of my friends from high school. It was so much fun. We met up on Friday night and went to dinner at the Olive Garden, it was really busy and we were there for about 3 hours, but it was fun. I think the tables next to us thought we were drunk because we were laughing so much and being loud.

That night we stayed up until 5 a.m. looking at old pictures from high school and remembering old times and catching up. I feel bad for the rooms next to ours because I don't think we were very quite. We woke up and got ready just in time for our pedicures at noon. We went to the Skin Science Institute (?) where Javan's sister Natalee is going to school. It was fun, I have never had a pedicure.

We spent the rest of the day shopping and hanging out and then that evening we went to a melodrama at the Desert Star in Salt Lake. It was great. Since we stayed up to late the night before we were all exhausted and went straight to bed.
Here is a picture of all of us the next morning, looking really good.

Here is Cyndi (Singer) Fielding, Nicole Ivins, Heather Jensen, Lisa (Johnson) Young, and Me!
It was a really fun weekend. I can't wait until next year. Thanks girls!

Making Cookies
The kids helped me make cookies on Friday. The whole kitchen was a total mess. After I dumped the flour in the mixer Ally reached over and turned it on full blast, shooting flour all over me, her, and the kitchen. Then she looked at me and the mess and said "Mom, it spilled." Thanks! It was fun though. They love to cut out the cookies and then eat them. (Me too!)

Helping Dad
Prom Already?
Ethan was asked to be a crown bearer at the prom this year. It was held on March 29, 2008. He was pretty nervous about walking in front of all those people and was telling me all day that "Prom was stupid" and he didn't want to go. He did great though. He was so cute.
This is Ethan and Haley Black walking across the gym bring the crowns. My camera was struggling and didn't like the lighting.

Here's Ethan after he was all done. (I tried several times to rotate this but it wouldn't change.)

And here is Ethan with Pratt, so handsome.

Happy Easter
We had a really fun Easter weekend. On Friday we went over to Cortez with Javan's family to the Cortez Rec. Center, they have a kiddie pool, lazy river, and big kid slide. The kids had a blast! We swam for over 2 hours. I took some pictures with Javan's phone so we'll have to see if I can get them off of there somehow.
When we got home it was pretty late but we decided to color eggs since the next day was our picnic, the kids love doing this, and Ethan thinks there are never enough eggs.

Ethan and Ally coloring eggs. Ally really takes after Javan in this picture, really concentrating with her tongue out. (It's hard to see.)

The eggs.

Ethan working hard on his egg.
We hiked to an Indian ruin called Moonhouse before our picnic. I think I almost died. I am so out of shape. We hiked down into a canyon and back up the other side to get to the ruin. Ethan did great, and Javan had to carry Ally the whole way. She kept saying she was tired, and she got a free ride the whole time.

This is a picture inside the ruin, it's still in really good shape. The paper Ethan is holding in his hand says "Do Not Enter Rooms", right where he was about to go, after moving the paper of course.

A little family picture at the ruin.

Ally and Javan in their sunglasses.

Ally on the hunt for some eggs.

Ethan spotting some eggs for Ally.

After the mighty egg hunt.

Ally and Ethan digging into their Easter baskets on Sunday morning, wondering where the Easter bunny went.

New Easter outfits.

We had another Easter egg hunt at Grandma Heather's house on Sunday afternoon. Here are some of the cousins from Javan's side. Ethan was ticked because he filled up his basket and there wasn't room for any more eggs.

We had family pictures taken last week. You can view them if you would like. Help me choose which ones to order.

Baby #3
That's right, we're having another baby! I am super excited and depending on how Ethan and Ally are acting dictates if Javan is excited or not. It took me awhile to talk Javan into this but he finally agreed. So, I am 13 1/2 weeks along, and due on September 3. But if we follow the trend of the other two it will be an August baby. So I am gearing up for a long and hot summer, but I look forward to it. I love being pregnant. Start thinking of names (we don't know what it is yet).
